Merchant and contact
The merchant trades as “Naked Compound” and is an individual / sole proprietor who is not GST-registered. The merchant’s legal name and address are shown on your private request page before you pay, and on your invoice. Invoice, payment, refund and review contact: team@nakedcompound.in.
Services and fees
- Label Audit — ₹3,500 per product: label, ingredients, doses, claims and FSSAI or relevant licence details checked against the published rubric and evidence.
- Lab Verified — ₹6,400 per product: the Label Audit plus checks of the brand’s supplied laboratory reports, accreditation, batch details and reported results against label claims.
No automatic bundle discount, GST or payment processing surcharge is added. We show the tier, product count and total before payment through Razorpay. Existing written quotes and invoices remain at their agreed prices. New or updated reports after reformulation or a failed review are a new paid request.
Extra listings. You can ask to be listed on guides, the home page or other pages. These listings are not included in the review fee. They cost extra, quoted according to what you ask for, and we may decline a request. Every paid listing is labelled as a Collaboration and never changes a score, verdict or ranked position.
Evidence and samples
You must provide complete labels, ingredient lists and FSSAI or relevant licence details for each product, plus usable lab reports for each batch for Lab Verified. You are responsible for accurate documents and permission to share them. We may verify a report with the issuing laboratory. Lab accreditation alone does not establish that every claim or report is valid.
Neither price includes retail purchases, new lab testing or retests. We do not run lab tests. If we need a sample, you provide it free; receipt of a sample will be disclosed and never guarantees a favourable review. Document verification is not a government certification or a guarantee about other batches.
Payment and when work starts
Submit the request form, review the total on the payment page, accept these terms and choose how to pay: the full fee in advance, or half in advance with the balance after you approve your draft. We record payment after it is captured and email you an invoice after each payment. We check document completeness before starting work. Work starts when substantive label/report assessment begins, after the 24-hour cancellation window, complete documents and a written start notice; saving a request, taking payment or receiving files alone does not start work. “Help me choose” requests wait for tier selection. Keep your private request link and payment reference; check status before retrying an uncertain payment.
Cancellation and refunds
- You may cancel within 24 hours of captured payment for a full refund of what you have paid: the advance, or the full fee. To cancel, email team@nakedcompound.in within that window with your request reference and payment proof, such as your Razorpay receipt or payment ID. We go by the time your email reaches us, and the deadline is shown in your private request. We do not begin substantive review work during those 24 hours.
- After 24 hours there is no cancellation and no refund, even if work has not started. This includes missing or unusable documents or lab reports, choosing not to approve a draft, and the verdict, score, wording of conclusions or failure to earn a badge.
- The one exception: if we decline a paid request or cannot provide the agreed service, we refund what you have paid.
- Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 7 working days of receiving the request. Working days exclude Saturdays and Sundays. We record the request and processing deadline. Your bank or payment provider may take additional time to display the credit; contact us with your reference if it is delayed.
You never need to send card, bank or PAN details to request a refund. Nothing here removes rights that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.
Review delivery and publication
We send the review draft, as a document and images, within 14 working days after receiving both your payment (the advance or the full fee) and complete documents. Working days exclude Saturdays and Sundays. The clock starts from the later of captured payment and receipt of the document set confirmed complete, not the later date when staff check it. We show the recorded start and due dates in your private request.
You have 7 calendar days from receiving the draft to send factual corrections with evidence. You may correct facts only; you cannot change the verdict, score or wording of conclusions. When you are satisfied, approve the draft on your private request page.
If you chose to pay half in advance, the balance is payable once you approve the draft and is due within 7 calendar days of your approval.
We publish as soon as you have approved the draft and the full fee is paid. Until both are done, the review stays unpublished. If you do not approve, we do not publish and the advance or fee is not refunded. Every published review carries a Collaboration label that says the brand paid for it and approved its publication. Badge use
The Naked Compound badge program is currently in beta. The eligibility and use restrictions below apply during beta.
No new Naked Compound badges are awarded until beta eligibility criteria are approved and published. The current review fee buys review work only, not a badge award. Any future badge is limited to the reviewed product, variant, batch and evidence version; its status must be corrected or withdrawn if that evidence is invalidated or the reviewed formulation changes. No numeric pass threshold is promised. Existing accepted agreements are handled under their own terms. Use on the brand’s own website, packaging, listings or ads needs a separate written licence. No such licences are currently sold; off-site badge use is not permitted. Neither the badge nor a review is NABL or government certification of the product.
Editorial independence and corrections
Payment never buys a favourable score. Our findings, verdict, score and conclusion wording stay ours. The brand decides whether a finished review is published, but its approval does not extend to changing what the review concludes. Report factual errors with evidence; we assess corrections and document material published changes.
Confidential documents and data
Private contact information and supplied documents are used to run the review and payment process. Published findings may describe the evidence and relevant batch. We do not publish private documents in full without permission. Do not upload unrelated personal information. Our privacy notice explains service providers, access and contact for data requests.
Previous quotes, invoices and changes
We retain agreed prices on existing issued quotes and invoices, including any individually agreed discounts. New prices do not rewrite an earlier invoice. We record the terms version accepted for each payment. Changes apply to new requests, subject to existing agreed terms.
Questions and complaints
Complaints contact: Naked Compound, team@nakedcompound.in. Include your reference. We aim to acknowledge complaints within 48 hours and resolve them within one month; any shorter mandatory deadline takes priority. These services are provided from India and are subject to applicable Indian law. Nothing in these terms removes rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
